8 SUITCASES AND A DREAM

It was cold the morning of February 9th, 2006 when a family of four set off on a British Airways flight from London Heathrow to Miami, Florida. With them, they carried 8 suitcases that contained treasured possessions and clothes to last a couple of months until the remainder of their belongings would arrive on a container ship.

Fisher Technology, LLC

In their hearts, they carried a dream! The dream of living in the United States and building a business. The dream became a scary reality and the decision that would change all their lives.

Paul (Founder & CTO) and his wife Nicole (Chief Everything Officer) had been appointed the North American Distributor of BPA Platform (formerly TaskCentre), authored by Codeless Platforms (formerly Orbis Software) and they were going to be opening an office in Boca Raton. The initial goal of the business was to recruit Reseller Partners to sell BPA Platform to their end-user customers. In the first-year, patterns emerged, and CRM and ERP Reseller Partners who resold SalesLogix (Infor CRM) and Sage MAS 90/200, 500 (Sage 100, Sage 500, X3) started to sign up. As time passed and enhancements were added to the product, new markets - SAP Business One, MS Dynamics AX and NAV - opened and more Resellers joined their growing list of Partners.

As BPA Platform matured with the addition of the web service toolset, they were able to offer integration. This was a new and exciting time for them and they began to carve a niche with integration between eCommerce, ERP, marketing automation and CRM systems.

MINNY THE MIX

Our Beloved team member Minny passed away in July 2021. Minny played an important role at Fisher Technology. Her day to day duties included a lot of sleeping and snoring. She liked to interact with her rope toy and if you gave her food you would be her best friend, for at least a minute.
