Reflections from Fisher Technology on Sage Summit 2011

Don't you love it when a good plan doesn't go right? I had such high hopes that I would have plenty of time at Sage Summit to write a daily diary recording my thoughts about the conference.

Today is Friday, we flew back home yesterday and though this blog was originally written (on paper) on Tuesday this is the first opportunity I have had to get to the virtual world and share!

Summit was a great Conference. There was a real buzz from all the attendees. Everyone was upbeat and positive about the business outlook. My feet (despite their aching) haven't really touched the ground.

We reconnected with so many of our wonderful Business Partners and met so many new people. We hung out in the Atrium bar and danced our socks of at the Fire and Ice Party, we manned the booth for 12 hour stretches and then went to the CRM Meet & Greet and then the Tweet Up. And how can I forget to mention the Air and Space Museum Party which was fantastic what a venue, imagine hanging out and networking whilst standing besides the Lunar Module!

And in between the parties we manned a very busy booth. Our visitors were very interested in the workflow: particularly purchase order approvals and new customer approvals. The other key interest was for integration, being able to create workflows accross multiple applications.

Plus we were lucky enough to have Apryl Hanson from Blytheco stop by and video the booth so if you didn't get to Summit in person enjoy a virtual visit.

So now that I am so energized I am ready for the real work to begin.
