TaskCentre Sage Summit Diary Saturday July 9th

As we stood in the Rotunda at the National Archives this morning looking at the original copies of the Declaration of Independence, The Constitution and The Bill of Rights it occurred to us that there was a correlation to the birth of this great nation, the beginning of Sage Summit and for us as an organization. We first attended Summit back in Nashville in 2006 when we were a start up and we found the experience exhilarating and an incredible way to connect with business partners. So now five years down the track just outside the nations Capital we are again participating in Summit but it's a different Conference as it's the first time that Sage have combined the Partner and Customer Conference and its taking place in July. You might wonder where I am going with the new beginnings as this is not the first time that we have participated at Sage events and so that's not new. But what is new is that we will be debuting the web service connector tool which is a new tool for TaskCentre that will enable all Sage applications to connect to virtually any cloud application and though the tool is still in beta we are so excited to be showcasing it at booth 230 . Additionally as an organization we have just implemented a new marketing strategy that encompasses social media. Over the last few weeks we have been working hard to update our website, creating special pages for the conference www.fisher-technology.com-sage-summit-2011 and providing a virtual tote bag, learning how to tweet, creating a Facebook page, joining conversations and making new connections on LinkedIn and of course blogging. And it's so exciting to be able to plug into everything that Sage is doing on the social media side for the first time with their guest bloggers and their mobile app with live twitter feed another new beginning! We are very excited, the conference has had such a good buzz even before it started, we are looking Forward to reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones. Can't wait for the Conference to begin!
