Holiday Season: Do you believe?

As most of us do during the holiday season, I have been reflecting on how I am of service not only in my personal life, but my professional one as well. Not just during the holidays or as an aside to my normal business duties, but in everything I do.

One thing I have heard consistently in my career is, "You are so passionate about what you do." It is a very true statement. I have been offering automation to businesses for over 20 years. It started with fax and shipping automation, then alerts and report distribution and has evolved into full Business Process Automation and integration.

I am not just trying to sell software licenses, I am genuinely motivated to help customers be more efficient. This is how you are spending your days; your time is to be treasured. You work hard to make your businesses successful, but are you working effectively? Are you working as a team or are your staff and technology disconnected? Where are you experiencing pain? What is your vision of success? It's not my job to tell you about my solution. It is my job ... no, my priveledge ... to ask questions, listen and then use my experience to try to help you be more efficient.

Often times the gratitude is immeasurable for simply being interested, because I truly am. I often suggest that business processes always be present in customers' minds and to write down their struggles and how they would like to resolve them, even if they don't know how (yet). I suggest the same to you and that you take that list to your technology partner who can help you with the "how".

So if I had a holiday wish, it would be for you to believe. Believe in processes. Spend time thinking about your processes, you are the experts at what you do. Being a connected, streamlined business is not a pipe dream, it can be a reality. It will save you time and money. It will make you more successful. Most of all, it will make your team's days better.
